Join us at Gervais & Vine on Monday, August 25th from 5PM to 7PM for our Summer Wine Goddess Party!
It's that time of the Summer, Goddesses! Time to leave work early and head down to Gervais & Vine to celebrate Summer and benefit local charities with wine, tapas, music and prizes. Who knows? You may end up being crowned Summer Wine Goddess!
This season's Wine Goddess will receive a beautiful red-burst, single cutaway acoustic guitar donated by local bluesman Willie Trask in recognition of his upcoming CD "Best Proclaim it with a Shout", as well as the coveted Wine Goddess tiara, bottle of champagne and bouquet of fresh flowers. Other prizes include bottles of wine, gift certificates and other Wine Goddess goodies!
We'll also have a special performance of the Wine Goddess Song by Kristian, featuring guitar virtuoso Marty Fort, along with a few more songs chosen especially for this special summer evening.
This party will benefit the children from St. Lawrence Place. St. Lawrence Place is an environment of 28 housing units that provides programming and transitional housing – up to two years – for qualifying families. More than bricks and mortar, St. Lawrence Place provides the structure, training and support that families in crisis need to sustain their independence. To help the children of St. Lawrence Place at the beginning of this school year, Wine Goddess will donate all proceeds from this party to purchasing school supplies, including notebooks, pens, pencils, backpacks and more.
Space is limited for this raucous event, so don't hesitate in getting your tickets as soon as possible. There is a limit of FOUR tickets per purchase. You can buy more, you'll just have to do it as separate transactions.
If you have any problems purchasing tickets online, you can call Gervais & Vine at 799-VINE (8463), but please understand that there will be times of the day when we simply are too busy to take ticket information via the phone (like during the dinner rush) and by the time you call back, it may be sold out. Online ticketing is more secure than a phone line.
Also, please arrange for transportation or choose a Designated Driver for the evening. We plan on having a really good time, so please don't drink and drive. We don't want to hold a fundraiser for you.
